If the Chamber's "road show" comes to your area, here are a few suggestions on how you can help expose the Snake Oil salesmen:

• Get some friends, family members and/or coworkers together and attend their event
  Show them you are not in favor of the Chamber putting corporations over people

• Make a sign and get on camera. Some suggestions:

  • People Over Profits
  • Secure Our Safeguards
  • We're Not Buying Your Snake Oil

• Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper
  Even a few lines to the newspaper will send a message that you value clean air and water, safe toys for your children, food that has been inspected and a system with secure safeguards that will prevent another financial meltdown.

• Contact your member of congress, your senators and local representatives
  Tell them you do not support stripping away essential public safeguards by allowing them to be weakened or taken away.
